Becoming a professional musician and touring the world is pretty much my driving motivation for everything I do. I have a very nice life in Sydney living at home with my family, and I'm currently completing a degree in music.

I grew up in an open minded family, and I couldn't be more grateful for it. I'm always looking for something to change my perspective on life. I'm only young but I want to have a full life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm travelling on a budget and I'd like to meet locals who know the area! I want to pick your brain for knowledge about the best bars and live music.

Most of the touristy stuff I can manage by myself, but if I want to get off the beaten track I might need some help.

Interests

I have a passion for music and I'm letting it take over my life, a philosophy thats been serving me well. I've also been taking dance lessons recently. I love reading: getting absorbed in a book is my idea of happiness. I like going out but I'm not into getting wasted at every opportunity I get.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Prince, David Bowie, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, all the old masters.I also have such a soft spot for the Sydney pub rock scene from the 80s, the very place where ACDC cut their teeth.

I'm a Lord of The Rings fan, the movies and the books. Another one of my favourite books is the Alchemist. I also like the philosophies of Alian De Botton and Alan Watts. Recently been getting into Sebastian Faulks and Ian McEwan. And if you want a laugh, read Bill Bryson! One of my favourite funny writers. I'm also trying to read more widely these days, but its hard when there are so many technological distractions.

I love philosophy as well, really enjoy conversations about the big stuff, always looking to my own mind frame challenged. That's why I go travelling!
