I am originally from Moscow, Russia, but have lived in the United States (in or around New York City) for most of my life.

I love flamenco, gypsy jazz, balkan brass bands. Django Reinhardt, Paco De Lucia, Fanfare Ciocarlia, Gogol Bordello are among my favorites. I also love Beatles and the Black Keys.

Books: Life and Fate, Philip Roth, Charles Bukowski, and all sorts of fantasy

Movies: Woody Allen is a favorite. Also Tarkovsky, Fellini, Wes Anderson
