About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel travel..work..work..travel travel..... .. .... ...

ABOUT ME

Considerably well travelled multilingual straight carnivoris male. Desires to travel once more. See all, eat all, drink all, do all. Hopefully meet a few characters along the way.

Outdoors + Sports type, love the nightlife. Rugby first sport, football numero 2. Anything beyond that, if its outdoors you can count me in. Love to Swim and Wall Climb too. Tutto bene

PHILOSOPHY

You've got to speculate to accumalate.....
The gods favour the brave, if you're not in you can't win..etc.
That which strikes the shell does not damage the oyster.
Treat Authority like you treat Mushrooms; feed them shit and keep them in the dark!
Maybe; maybe not; maybe go fuk yourself!

Music, Movies, and Books

The very lastest outstanding offerings;
MOVIE; The Dark Knight; The Departed; Pans Labyrinth; There will be blood
MUSIC; Coldplay; Kings of Leon; Andrea Bocelli, White Lies, Biggie Smalls, Ice Cube,
BOOKS; Tom Holland "Rubicon" + "Persian Fire" of late.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid Trail; Tupiza/Bolivia
Salt Mines Tour; Potosi/Bolivia
The most Dangerous Road in the World; La Paz/Bolivia
Inter-railing Europe X3. All amazing.
The eternal city of Rome. Italy
Tango Classes. Buenos Aires
Class 6-7 Whitewater Rafting on the Apurimac River/Upper Amazon; outside Cusco/Peru.
Macchu Picchu. Agua Calientes/Peru.
Semifinal of South American Champions League; Boca Juniors v Cucutahs. Buenos Aires/Argentina.
Iguazu Falls. Foz de Iguacug/Puerto Iguazu. Argentina/Brazil
South West Italy - Calabria/Pizzo. The area is simply stunning, the food is local and very tasty, esp. the local ice cream. The beaches are sublime. The local towns are very quite for the most part but very attractive in their own way. Tropea stands out in the area - hit the beach there for the day!
Leonards Stag. Lagos-Praia de Rocha/Portugal
Munich Octoberfest! Is busht.
Sullys' Stag in Munich was a side-related but just as massive event.
Richards Stag in Kilkenny was quality.
Ipanema Beach. Rio de Janiero/Brazil.
Salt Flats. Salta/Argentina.
Adriatic ferry crossings x2 - don't get a "cabin"; get an "airplane style seat" - you'll spend most of your time on deck anyway.
The Parthenon upon the Acropolis in Athens, definitely a sight/site to behold
Lycabettus Hill (highest point of Athens) - great views, a challenging climb up (if you jog). Restaurant at the summit, best view in Athens, but you'll pay for the experience to be sure.
Cape Sounio, the tip of the Attica peninsula, main attraction is the Temple erected to the Olympian Poseidon. Worth noting that there is a great little crescent shaped beach at the foot of the peninsula, some prime beach time to had.
Athenian Riots - again this is definitely something to be seen. Crazy. Also, a side event here is the joy of being tear gased by the riot police for no reason at all - point blank unawares tear gasing as well. the malaka!
Belgrade / Beograd is a cool city, very cool. Try to avoid falling into this trap; going to Stephan Jones night club with stangers to have a "few sociable drinks" - promptly loosing all acquaintances and drinking random Technicolored drinks, no description other than "green" and "red" when you're ordering. Long story short you'll get very very very drunk. In Serbia, surrounded by Serbs, while drunk, disorientated and without company..i won't recommend it. having said that, i came out the other side fine. in fact i found 3 pizzas next to me when i did.
The nightlife of Barcelona..Berlin..Prague..Stockholm..Oslo..Coppenhagen..Athens..Belgrade..
et cetera.....i could be typing all day; i've had some great experiences and count myself very fortunate to be able to recite them as i had some dodgey experiences too. As one dose.

Teach, Learn, Share

Scandinavia is veryyyyy dear! Sweden use the SEK swedish kroner. 1 EURO = 10SEK, Norway use NOK norwegian kroner. 1 EURO = 7NOK. Denmark is similar in price to Norway. However on the upside the place is fantastic. Really nice people, very nice girls!, fantastic scenery. p.s. tip go to Malmo, go to the new man made beach. tip go to huf beach in Oslo.
