Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I went couch-surfing with my girlfriend last year and I absolutely love the experiences! Through couch surfing, I get to see and experience for myself how locals go about in their everyday life and this is something you can't just read off books or the internet

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch-surfed in Czech, Paris, Brussels and Taiwan. My hosts have introduced to me local getaways and hangouts that is not known to many tourists. For example, in Taiwan, we eat at a local breakfast store and it was delicious! Such is the beauty of couch-surfing

Interests

I love watching and playing all kinds of sports, from soccer to swimming. During my free time, I will run! I find running not only a good exercise, but allow me to explore places and more importantly, meeting new friends!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to English pop songs on the radio and love watching thrillers and surprisingly, animated films. There is a magic to animated film that is difficult to describe! Some of my fav films include, Up, Frozen, Infernal Affairs, Matrix Trilogy!

I also love to read biography as it shares the inside of the lives many thought they knew well, but is wrong! I love to read the thought process behind the decisions made by these famous people, such as Lee Kuan Yew

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A roller coaster! I am afraid of heights and it takes me courage to finally sit on one

I am a engineering student, so I can teach you so maths and applied physics if you want!

If not, I will be happy to share with you my life experiences and the insights of my country, Singapore!
