Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

We think that it's an amazing opportunity to travel all over the world and meet interesting people! We we would really like to become good friends to both surfers and hosts. Moreover, we are open to meet up with surfers who want to visit Russia (Ulyanovsk, in particular). It's such a great way to get to know people from different countries without going anywhere but staying in our home town :)

Intereses

I'm fond of literature, photography, linguistics, drawing, collecting sea attributes. Alex is keen on sport, history and computer science. We are interested mostly in everything that can inspire and let us wonder.

Música, películas y libros

I adore reading. It's my passion, really. My favourite authors are R.Bradbury S.King, J.S. Foer, M. Bulgakov, V. Nabokov, J. Brodsky, S. Zweig.
As for music, the list of it is much bigger. I like different genres of music - classical, rock, folk, and so on. One of my favourite groups are Placebo, Radiohead, Portishead, The XX, God is an Astronaut, M83. I like the music of Clint Mansell and Hans Zimmer ... Alex is more a rap man :)
One of the films I like to rewatch is Pride and Prejudice and Interstellar, I like watсhing sci-fi and fantasy films. Alex likes National Treasure and Gone in Sixty Seconds.

If you share your favourite recipes, we would be glad to cook the food all together. For our part, we can teach you how to cook Russian dishes, share some information about good places to eat and interesting sights to visit, and, of course, we can teach you some phrases in Russian.

It's really interesting to get to know you, your occupation, life stories and so on. As I'm keen on learning languages, I would be extremely happy to learn some words and expressions in your mother tongue.

Spending time with a person, we adore very many things - just chatting (that's why I'm learning Enlgish and French - to broaden my horizons), listening to people's stories, cooking (though I'm not a really great cook, but I'm trying :) ), helping with the chores, dancing, singing and other different stuff.
