Hello everyone! I'm new to the Couchsurfing community. I'm a positive, curious and energetic soul who loves nature, animals, sunsets, meaningful connections and discovering new realities. I'm originally from Spain, but I rarely stop at home. I've lived in Malta, Italy and most recently Switzerland, but I'm still looking for a place to call home.
My first solo backpacking experience was in Peru in 2019 and I haven't stopped wandering since. I use travelling as a way to discover myself (sometimes to heal and process emotions), and I love interacting with other like-minded souls from different backgrounds than mine.
I'm a pretty active person, always up for a hike or some outdoor activity, but I also appreciate slowing down and enjoying a good coffee.
I'm a pescatarian (I eat seafood and dairy products but not meat).

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm starting a year-long trip around the world in April and I want to experience each country I visit in a local way. I learned a long time ago that the best way to really discover a place is to surround yourself with local people and take part in local experiences, so here I am!

My plan is to combine this with volunteering, eco-farming and I may also consider working a couple of hours in hostels/tour agencies. I would love to contribute to society and I think I have some great things to offer: from my healthy lifestyle point of view, teaching languages to the best of my ability with people, my energy and sharing some of the European and Spanish food and traditions.

Música, películas y libros

I mainly like reggae, ska, ragga and Latin music, but you'll find a lot of Spanish old rock on my playlist and I can dance to almost anything.
I like action, mystery, crime, fantasy and horror films.
I love reading about psychology, feminism and, I must admit, I read a lot about my subjects (physio and nutrition).

I learnt Italian and German in one year, both from scratch, to be able to communicate better with my patients, and I'm still very proud of that.

I did the Tarzan Swing in Monteverde (Costa Rica), even though I have a fear of heights.

I could teach you Spanish, English or Italian and give you some nutritional or lifestyle tips.

I would love to learn more about your culture, traditions, politics, music and ideas. I’m also interested in learning more about meditation, yoga and mindfulness practices.

I would like to do some cooking together, or even help with drawing or painting a mural.
