I'm currently living in Spain, where I'm working as PostDoc researcher in engineering. My house is in Terrassa, a town close to Barcelona to which it's well connected. However, probably it's not the best place if you expect to party every day. On the other side, if you need a calm place where to rest while visiting Bcn, and get some feeling of local life, it is perfect..

I'm a calm and respectful boy, I also think that I'm really adaptable and open-minded. However, my tolerance doesn't fit with racist/fascist/homophobic behaviors, or with deep ignorance and populism.
A part of that, my roommates usually say I'm a very good roommate, I swear :)

I'm atheist and my mind is purely scientific. However, I believe on the positive effects led to the 'soul' by the knowledge and by the intimate contact with nature. This mainly comes through open air sports and activities: trail-running, hiking, mountaineering, open-water swimming. Recently I also started to like and practice a bit of yoga.
The knowledge comes through the study of literature and by means of travels. I love traveling, discovering new places, and knowing the history and culture of the country where I go. CS is a key factor in this sense as allows me to get in contact with people which share with me much of these features. I travel as much as I can, compatibly with work commitments.

In general, I like a lot of music, if it's good music!
I don't tolerate commercial music and reggaeton.
Sometimes, I also love parties, concerts and above all, festivals (also in this case, if the music is good).

My ideal vacation includes a wonderful natural place, some good friend, and music festival on the background!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it's the best way to travel, as it shows you one of the most important part of the places that you visit: the people, their culture and their point-of-view.
I also like to meet other travelers, to share some of the moments of the trip, and because, most of the time, I can feel very close and in tune with them.
