About Me

Hi, I'm Nadine, in my already nearly mid-30s and started Couchsurfing in 2019 on a 6 month trip trough North and Central America. I would say travelling is one of my biggest passions - getting to know new people, new places and especially something about the differences in the daily life. I already met so many awesome characters on my travels and looking forward to get to know more of these cool people in this community!

I recently moved in with Lenny - cool guy, has a lot of friends😅. We bought this flat together and have so much space to share. Since one of my hosts once told me couchsurfing is like travelling at home, I would love to finally experience that by myself. So both of us are super open to get to know new people, new cultures and share some good conversations over a glass of wine.

Since our kitchen is great for cooking together, it would be super cool, if people who stay with us, are open to that. We'll be happy to host you.💜

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the best way to learn something about the daily life and culture of other countries is to stay at a home of someone who lives there. I'm excited to meet interesting people and I already improved my english a lot. Next step is spanish!
And the other way around: Since I recently moved in a big flat, it's possible for me to host some people. One of my former hosts once said: "It's like travelling at home." - Don't know which better words to use.

Interests

I love good food (the classics: pasta and ice cream :D), music (especially when I'm outside strolling around), reading (psychological thrillers, novels), watching movies and series and yes, I love proofreading - that's what I'm really good at. But in my freetime I also try different sports. I like running (or fast walking :D) and bouldering (unfortunately my arms feel like jell-o :D). To be honest: one of my favorites is drinking beer/wine with friends and play some bord or card games! :D Oh! And since I am working for a spirits online shop I started to drink more quality spirits like whisky, great rums and delicious gin. Really getting into that. ;)
