About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finding a place to stay in Miami so that I can see my old friend from high school get married this weekend!
ABOUT ME
I'm into reading, good food, good things in general, talking, musing, wondering and also, definitely, wandering. I love to travel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had an awesome stint through Asheville, NC a couple years ago, met some great people (whom I'm still in touch with, Bret) and totally recommend the experience.
Interests
Music and food and talking to strangers. Allowing myself to get sucked up in conversations on public transportation, on the street, with anyone and everyone.
NPR, Monty Python, Math, Philosophy, History (with the capital H, including the telling of, and also Transformation). Transformations (mathematically, socially/politically). How things change.
Music. What a way to lift your spirits and take you some place new (...or old).

Music, Movies, and Books
Any movies by David Gordon Green and Almodovar
Music - too much, too much.
Jeannete Winterson's an old favorite. David Foster Wallace.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've navigated my way through a Jaipur mob and survived a mosh-pit of dye during Holi in Varanasi.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love talking/teaching/sharing and learning math (including puzzles and paradoxes, and especially games). That's sort of what I'm doing for a living right now.
Also, I love teaching/talking/sharing/learning theories of society. This is at once important and satisfying to me.
