About Me

Looking to meet people I have things in common, for example, a passion for the environment or conservation or an interest in Africa or non-European cultures. I usually feel more comfortable hosting people around my age. I usually work from home, so if you stay with us during the week, I would kindly ask you to make plans on your own during the day, otherwise I get distracted easily.

Whether I can host you or not also depends on my housemates. I'll have to ask them and getting back to you might take some days.

CURRENT MISSION

Document projects that have a goal to save energy and resources and narrate the stories of those who make them happen.

ABOUT ME

I'm interested in the good things that live has brought to my attention, friendship, good food, reading, learning new languages, laughing, sports, nature, the mountain, the beach, camping, hiking, discovering new places, learning languages, staring at the sunset...

PHILOSOPHY

Mens sana in corpore sano. Be curious about what is happening around. Never stay still, always have a reason to walk looking at the landscape. There is always a reason to do things, even if doesn't happen instantaneously, it will happen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to connect with people who share my same interests, I especially appreciate stories from Africa where it seems always heading towards... :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been CSing for a nearly 8 years. The first time was in Copenhaguen during the 2009 climate change conference, and I've continued ever since. I had a great time then and every other time. I hosted people during my time in Edinburgh and I loved doing it. Some of the best people I'm in touch with today were either CS hosts or guests :)

Interests

I spend a lot of my time learning languages and also working on one environment project or another. I like travelling too, especially by train. I grew up in a train station near Madrid in Spain as my dad worked for the national rail company. As a kid, I couldn't fall asleep without the noise of the train engines ongoing maintenance during the night. I often combine CS with my passion for train travel, which mostly restricts my travel space to Europe but it's great.
