We are family of 4 from Perth, Western Australia, our boys are 5.5 and almost 4. We are courteous, attentive and minimalist travelers.

Since our boys were born, we have been asking alot of questions about life and the way we lived our life: suburban life, the 9-5 and busy weekend. By chance, my husband worked with a lady who sails with her family and bumped into an ex-colleague who sold everything to travel. We inspired to look outside of our boxes. In May 29th, We left Perth and started our traveling.

During these past 6 months, it's been tough, but fulfilling. We've learned so much about ourselves and the kids than the past 5 years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are very conscious when it comes to sharing accommodation with another person or family. We understand the challenges since we have 2 little boys. Even though they are quite well manners and we are the hands on parents.

The main purpose of coming to Coursurfing is that we like to meet up with the locals, to hear and learn from their stories. During our 2 months traveling in Taiwan, we realised that we connect better with a place and its history when we talked to the locals. Listening and learning their stories have enriched us in ways we did not expect.
