About Me

Born and grew up in Korea and moved to United States in 2003. Lived in San Francisco, Georgia and now I call New York City as my home. I am a creative director in design and advertising field, so I love art and design. I play piano since I was 5 years old, and love listening classical music and jazz. Recently started kick boxing and climbing. But embarrassingly I never get to learn swimming and biking. (it's on my bucket list though)
I started cooking when I was only 9, and cooking is one of favorite thing to do. I am easy going and fun person to be around and I am always up for discovering new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been in the advertising industry over 10 years and I can feel that I am burnt out. And recently the global ad agency I was working let people go through multiple times of laid off... and I was one of them. Then I started to think, maybe I should take advantage of this and start to explore world more. I never been to Europe and I do not know anyone living in European country. I just joined Couchsurfing because I like to get to know local people and learn their life styles. And I am hoping to let myself enjoy this time exploring new things with new friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to new country with dream and started new life when I was 28. I think it's the best decision I made for myself so far.
