ABOUT ME

I lived my whole life in Korea, studying and working, and then went to UK for MSc degree and lived there for a year. Came back in 2015 and working in Korea again!

I love meeting new people and experiencing new things, but on the other hand, I actually like small group of people more than knowing tons of people. And I love having conversations that I can find out what their interests/experiences are, learn, and talk about what we have in common and our every day life.

It may sound weird, but I love podcast, maybe too much. Not many of my friends listen to it because they don't speak English but I talk about them quite often. It's just so fun to hear about authentic, personal stories of individuals living in a different world, sometimes I feel relieved I share certain similar emotions, or to learn about results of scientific research on humans and societies.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

There is not much opportunity to meet people with diverse backgrounds elsewhere. Even if you don't host or surf, it's such a great place to meet fellow travelers who are like-minded and you can trust thanks to references.
I haven't done hosting/surfing, but I would love to do if I have a chance!! :)

Interessen

I love going to a live concert, music festivals and movie festivals. There are some festivals that I go every year unless I am out of country.
I love bike riding! I also like water parks/beach although I don't know how to swim. Haha.

This year, I want to learn swimming and surfing!

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

If you want to learn what it's like to study in the UK, I can share my experience.

Or maybe I can cook some Korean food as long as I have ingredients.. But please note that I am not a good cook.. Only learned to survive in UK, but even then I managed to live without cooking that much. :P Oh, I can cook lasagna with a recipe from my Italian house mate. :D

Or any other particular thing that you want to learn or get from Korea, I will do my best!
