About Me
Hi, I'm Ody. I came from Yogyakarta but I lived in Jakarta for 8 years but I already went back to my hometown recently. I make cafe latte every morning, and of course I will make it for you too!
I've just quit my 8-5 job and now I'm working remotely with creative agency from US as a video editor. I'm planning to travel the world while working as a video editor. I hope we can meet along the way. I love to have friends from across the countries!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
2011, first time I knew about CS. When I lived in Germany, and my Indonesian friend who lives there come to me and told me about her experience in CS. So I made it, and I'm into it.
Then, I met a friend from Bangkok, we haven't met in real life but we keep in touch, he helps me a lot when I'm in Bangkok. That time, he's really busy so he couldn't meet me.
Then right now I made a lot of friends from around the world because of CS. And I hope it will go on. It felt nice to have friends who talk differently

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
*I can't swim. But in the end of 2023, I took Open Water Dive Course with SSI. And I made it! Now I'm a certified Advance Open Water Diver. And it's not my last journey.
*Hiking Merbabu mountain 4 times, and at the third time I tried short cut to go down, but then I thought I get lost in jungle, in the middle of nowhere. Then a group of wild monkeys shouted and try to chase me. I run and imagined like a scene of Hunger Games Catching Fire, then I saved after fell down on the right track.
*I can't swim but I forced my self to freedive in Karimunjawa, Gilis, and Kepulauan Seribu
*I was 18 that time and that was my first time go far away from home to germany, and lived there for 5 months with the stranger (then we become family)
*Ride motorcycle for 7 hours from Jogja to Karimunjawa with my friend (we're both girls)
*Solo backpacking to Bali from Jogja by train and economy bus, it felt really good to travel alone but sadly I just don't have a person to talk
*Ride motorcycle from Mataram lombok to Kenawa Sumbawa, that's awesome experience. We're only 4 girls who don't know about Lombok or Sumbawa but we had guts! We ride or motorcycle to Pototano, and met a nice fisherman there and ask him to take us to Kenawa, it was so cheap and he's a nicest person we met there. In Kenawa, there's nothing to sleep, so we build our tent, make a campfire but we met some snakes. We're girls and we made it.
