ABOUT ME
I am a former elemtentary and middle school music teacher in Detroit, Michigan. I am passionate about music and the process of learning. I would love to talk to you about your expertise and it's cross pollination with music education.
I grew up moving homes and crisscrossing the U.S. by car. The backseat and view of highways speeding past were the average in my childhood. I've since updated the view to the driver's seat though the scenery continues to fly by.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In the past I have been able to be very active in the local CS community but due to a roughly 80 hour/week job (that I love) it's just not possible now.
I am a bit of an evangelist to the cause and have gotten many people started surfing and hosting.

Interests
Music. I can blather on and on and on about it. Sure, I can blather about other things, I guess.
I love learning about languages ... unfortunately I get distracted too quickly learn any really well. I used to speak Italian and Spanish decently but the languages have been all but forgotten
I also like making things. My apartment is decorated with my projects. Im a mad scientist of sorts

It is all constantly changing. Every type of music has a quality uniquely it's own that speaks to me.

I live in the shadow of the most phallic building on the planet (it's official!). I have moved homes nearly 23 times in my life, almost one for every year I have been alive.
