Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started this trip with the goal of meeting people in cities I've never visited before. I thought, what's a better way to meet new people than couchsurf along the way.

I like all kinds of music, movies & books. It's hard to categorize my favorites.

Lately, I've been listening to Illinoise and Seven Swans by Sufjan Stevens.

I never get tired of Crimes and Misdemeanors by Woody Allen. I really value movies, I think they're a great way to learn new things. I love French, German, Chinese, and American films.

As I've decided to start my trip in Maine, I'm currently reading a book called 'Stories of Maine' to prepare myself for things to see.

I lived abroad in China for a bit, and if you're interested in learning anything about 中国 (China), I'd be able to give you the inside scoop.

I also am a software developer, and if you perchance had any questions or needed help with websites, etc., I'd be more than willing to help.

Throughout this trip, I'm trying to genuinely get to know these places I've never seen before. I would love to learn about you. Last year, I started a project called ilhouette (http://www.ilhouette.com/) where I interview people about everyday things.
