ABOUT ME

Hey there folks!!! I have always considered myself an artist, and have dabbled in all mediums of sorts, yet now mostly stick to oil painting. I love humor that might verge on dark, but with a human twist... I am an easygoing person, Quiet at times, Reflective, I love to talk, and I love to listen. People amuse me. I have always wished I could travel, and when my friend, an artist in film, said he was going to Europe, I asked to come. So this is a spur of the moment first time trip to a place far away where I have never been. Kinda crazy, like jumping off a cliff, but a promise of adventure. My daughter will be vacationing with her father while I am away. So it seems the hand of fate has been playing cards in my favor, allowing me to go on a trip I am sure to remember for the rest of my life. Goodwill to you!

PHILOSOPHY

Love is this ever present vibration holding the Universe together. Life is meant to be lived with unbridled childlike enthusiasm. Innocence is our natural inheritance.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Only 45 minutes south of Seattle, I would love to have some foreign visitors to spice up my life with a visit.
Tacoma is also the home of a great glass museum, and there is Mt.Rainier national park nearby, Ideal for a camping excursion. Also, Tacoma is home to Bob's World Famous Java Jive, one of the funkiest dive bars ever.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of my best friends is a woman who let me stay on her couch in Seattle when I was 19, and on a 20 day road trip with a friend. She was so fabulous, taking us all around to see the sights, to galleries, parties, and poetry readings, as well. I hardly knew her, just a friend of a friend, yet we stay in contact now till this day. We also stayed with a surrealist artist in Mt.Shasta, and her 4 girlfriends. We had a wild and fun filled time.
