ABOUT ME

Nicole and I love to travel and get so excited each time we are fortunate enough to do so! I love the history of places, and the older the better. If I can spend time with friends and family doing anything fun and adventurous, I'm happy.

PHILOSOPHY

It's amazing that we as people can ever get along, because we are so different. But a little grace, a little understanding, and lots of forgiveness brings people together. I try my best to live with integrity and be kind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We want to learn about and be involved in people's lives from other cultures. And we are happy to offer our couch up for someone passing through!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Let's put it this way. I surfed 3 different couches with my brother on our trip around Europe, and I invited 2 of those hosts to my wedding! We experienced amazing hospitality in England, Ireland, and France. I recommend couch surfing very highly, as it's the best way to become a part of the culture, rather than a tourist.

Update: My wife Nicole and I stayed with a host that my brother and I stayed with in 2011. This time it was more like staying with family. I'm amazed at the friendships you can make staying with a local family.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled Europe for one month with my brother. We went to England, Iceland, Ireland, France, Switzerland, and Italy. Best. Trip. Ever. Took a month long Honeymoon with my wife to Ireland, England and Italy. That was incredible.
