About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See the whole world and meet extraordinary people on my way

ABOUT ME

I'm Ciara, aka. Kiki. I've lived in more places I can count and thats normal to me by now. I can accurately describe myself as a mover and a doer. I get itchy feet and I have all sorts of crazy plans to cycle around the world one day, then sail the next. As of the last few months I've decided to leave my traditional career path as an art director and focus on buying and selling vintage clothing. It's a crazy new adventure i'm on and I haven't a clue where it's going to lead me :P I've met some awesome and inspiring people on my travels who have given me the courage to pack in what wasn't making me happy and follow this crazy path. It's the people who make life interesting and so I am always looking for someone to show me new things a new way of looking at things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The people who I have met through couch surfing have all been really interesting and some with a similar outlook on life to me. Even the stranger uncomfortable experiences have been interesting. My rating is A plus.

Interests

art, design, photography, reading, illustration, festivals, sailing, cycling, skiing, travel (duh) and all those others I mentioned in my description

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll just do three.
Book: The mists of Avalon.
Movie: Hmm... Into the wild
Music: Hardest yet... Tommy Guerrero

These are all subject to change in any given mood on any given day:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed to Everest base camp, climbed to Annapurna base camp, cycled 600km from Poland to Estonia, dove Sipidan in Borneo, saw Urangutangs in the wild, swim in the dead Sea, climbed Mt. Rinjani. Climbing mount Rinjani was probably the coolest thing I even did though. It was a 2 day climb, some of it at night with head torches. I'll never forget it. I have a lot of bright reflections on the lesser monumental things I have done in terms of global acheivement. One of my favourite holidays of all time was a cycle trip on Samso Island off Denmark. I'll never forget the scent of the strawberry fields. Sigh, happy days

Teach, Learn, Share

I have more to learn than I have to share but if you share with me I will gladly return the favour.
