ABOUT ME

I'm going to Kyoto in the first days of April for one year, to work for French consulate on the refurbishment work at Villa Kujoyama. My plane was booked lately by French administration, that's why I didn't try to find a couch before !! And I'll be pleased to meet some locals for a drink... Anybody? Or some advices to find a room? Thanks!

PHILOSOPHY

I only want to make unusual things, not to choose between white or black, left or right : I prefer to think it a different way. I'm amazed by everything I discover, I'm impulsive, but I try not to be shortsighted. And I'm not very confortable in describing my philosophy...
And I've got the cinema disease: even if I don't work in film making, I'll always shoot films!

As i'm a newcomer in Kyoto, I cannot host, but I'd like to surf your couch or just have a drink with you !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've tralled once using couchsurfing for a month, making a roadtrip around Europe. With my team, we shot a documentary movie on young Europeans...which is currently edited !
I've met also couple of Couchsurfers in Lille, to have a drink, but never hosted anybody. Wanna try?

Interests

I'm interested in Cinema in general and film making in particular. I also enjoy photography. But my life is not only about it: my favorite hobby is to get lost in a city and discover a non-touristic side of it. I always go out with friends or invite them to take a drink : I'm studying in the North of France, where hospitality is the main moto!
I also play drums since I'm 14 (after having tried piano and guitar), and I play in a band, covering rock artists such as Queens of The Stone Age, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, The Strokes...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you film making techniques, drum skills, some science - physics, mechanics, mathematics, electricity (I'm in an Engineering School, even if I often don't remember ;) ). I can also make you learn French (I've already done it in an association) and Spanish.
What I really wwant to learn in the next month is what young Europeans feel bout Europe and why (having a look on their behaviours, their hobbies and their feelings in general)
I want to share point of view about life in general, speak about music, cinéma, paints and art in general. Other things is very important for me to share : a good beer (or good French wine!!), some friendship and many laughs with you!
