Hello. I lived in Grand Rapids until I was 21. Moved to Lansing until I was 26 and currently live in Houston, TX. I enjoy meeting new people and drinking dark beers because I am SUCH an artisan. Not really. I like biking, writing, playing Quelf and petting dogs.

I am couchsurfing because it is one of many ways to meet really awesome people. I also really want to keep my German skills updated. I just submitted an article translated into German per request of a publisher and the article was rejected! I studied German for four years at a University and my skills are rapidly diminishing. Couchsurfing is a great social media source to accomplish my goal.

Sadly I have been doing more reading than writing lately. At least writing that I would like to do (fiction, short stories, poetry). I am dabbling in the young adult literature by authors consisting of: David Levithan, Kate Hattemer, Cristina Moracho, J.C. Carleson, A.S. King, Lu Marie, Kat Spears, Jon Green, etc. Really great stuff.
