About Me

CURRENT MISSION

-Fully participating in the world-

ABOUT ME

I like to think of myself as loving, practicing humility, engaged in social justice issues, funny, genuine and intelligent. I'm learning more and more every year of my life, have found others to be my greatest inspirations, and am generally proud of myself for the many steps I have taken on my path towards being a happy, fulfilled person.

PHILOSOPHY

I intend to engage in the world in ways that support the existence of others and myself at the same time. I feel like I am always learning, and each step makes me more excited for the next one. I try to be constructive in my judgments, and happy with my choices.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Head-on. I eat like I have no bowels, try foreign languages like I have no accent, live like I have no tomorrow. Really thrive with reciprocation from others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some great meetups, have been hosted by inspiring people, and shown love from many others. CS really shows you how easy it is to reach out and shake your neighbors hand.

Interests

Music, juggling, dancing, basketball, social-justice activism, critical thought, meeting new people, learning new languages, growing, etc!

Music, Movies, and Books

To name a few--
Books:
Vietnam-Stanley Karnow
Song of Ice and Fire- George R. Martin
My Sister's Keeper- Jodi Picoult
The Memory Keeper,
1984,
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn
and so many more!

Music:
Some rap/hip-hop, some electronic, some soul, some funk, a lot of music whose genres don't have names. Saying artist names isolates those who don't know/like the same ones, so I'll avoid that for now.

Movies:
Remember The Titans
Crash
Babel
Inception
Pan's Labyrinth
Jaula de Oro
Black Swan
