I love to go to concerts and smaller shows. I enjoy most genres. I used to host a radio show where I played eclectic music - mostly whatever I'm into at that moment. You'll hear anything from surf rock, funk, soul, electronic, hip hop, jazz, to shoegaze, etc. I'm kind of an introvert, but music is the one topic that gets me talking.

I really like fiction novels. Two of my favorite writers are Sandra Cisneros and Junot Diaz. But, I also like more thoughtful, non-fiction works, like Behind the Beautiful Forevers by Katherine Boo. Like music, it depends on what I'm into at the moment.

I can teach you how to make basic sewing alterations with a sewing machine or by hand. I'm also somewhat photoshop savvy - very good at cropping people into random backdrops with random objects (if you're into that). I'd like to learn about your life and your neighborhood.
