Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to make my traveling experience more local. I'd love to meet new people to learn about their hometowns through their eyes, as I believe it doesn't really get any more authentic than that.

I'd also like to offer my guests insight into my life, my city, my culture. :)

Interests

I enjoy pop culture, music and art. I'm a big foodie, although having such a sweet tooth is not making me any skinner :P I love reading and dancing and feel very passionate about the feminist movement. Oh, and I adore animals!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: pretty much anything goes with me - depends on the mood, but you would definitely find me at a concert of Beyonce, Adele, Bon Jovi, Maroon 5, Whitesnake, U2, The Script, Lady Gaga and some really cheesy Croatian musicians :)

Movies: not much of a movie person, more into TV shows, such as Suits, Scandal, Homeland, One Tree Hill, Californication, This is Us..

Books: biographies and anything from Lisa See - Peony in Love, Sunflower and the Secret Fan, Shanghai Girls, Dreams of Joy. And my all time favorite is the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit a steady job I hated to go travel around the world and after two years of self-discovery I started my own company which I now love and enjoy managing so much!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share numerous stories from my travels so far and parts of my culture that are deep within my personality. I can offer them a place to stay when they visit my country and a lifelong friendship with someone who is always ready to help. :)
