About Me

Hey there, I'm a student from Berlin and I just love to travel and meeting new people in new, beautiful countries! That's why I have decided to join the couchsurfing community, I'm really a fan of the whole idea :). With me you can talk the whole night through, about your favourite blue-coloured food, the climate change or whatever comes up! And I'm always excited to discover places I wouldn't have stumbled upon on my own or learn something new the travel guide book doesn't tell you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a big fan of the concept and since I've heard only positive things about it, I decided to join in. And the few times I have tried it so far have really confirmed my positive opinion.

Interests

listening to music, reading (a lot!), meeting with friends, dancing whenever (yay, always fun! seriously, who doesn't like that), hiking and taking long walks, annoying all my friends by taking far too long at the museum (I'm sort of museum-crazy, whether it's modern art or natural history, I guess I just dig looking at stuff), and obviously traveling

Music, Movies, and Books

Whatever I can get my hands on and like :) some rock, alternative, hip hop and rap, cheesy pop, reggae, currently some Spanish music, too (helps me learning the language...)
I love TV shows: Breaking Bad, True Detective, House... And a lot of different movie genres, like action and British comedies, old Hitchcock movies and screwball comedies, some fantasy/ science fiction (who doesn't like The Empire Strikes Back) and the occasional cover-the-top feel-good-movie, of course.
When it comes to books, I love the big complicated stories with a few 100 pages I can really dig myself into and forget everything around me for a few hours. I also love to re-read my old children's books, especially Astrid Lindgren, and follow a few amazing blogs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some time ago, I dyed my hair pink and purple - it looked awful on me, but my friends and I had fun turning the bathroom into a multi-coloured battlefield :)
