I love to travel around the world, learn more about other cultures, countries and their people and like to learn languages... they are fascinating me. I even learned a bit Arabian, Russian etc., but it's not like talking them fluently.
My biggest love is Latinamerica... Spanish... Salsa... ritmos latinos... LA COMIDA! I really love to eat... good stuff, self-made, I love to cook... anyway...
At the moment I live in Hannover, the capital of Lower Saxony in Germany, but I was born in the beautiful Lueneburger Heide, a region a bit more up in the north.
I love to meet people, have a good conversation and spend some time together.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am here because I went abroad a quite long time, about five months. I started in Peru, then headed to Bolivia and from there to Ecuador, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama and Colombia. I have quite a lot of friends over there and I really needed to see them, but I visited so much more places where I didn't have friends (now I have), and it was just great! :-)
On the other hand: I always had vivistors from all over the world here in my small appartment (mainly friends of friends), and I always loved to show them my town and sights of interest. As I worked eight years for the Tourist Information Board in Hannover, I guess I may tell you a lot of interesting things about Hannover and its history, people and culture.

One of my best things was an unplanned trip near the volcán Baru in Panama... We wanted to see a waterfall, and the experience was incredible!!! It was raining, there was jungle all over... it was a wonderful adventure!
