Originally from Townsville, Australia, I moved to London at the beginning of 2015 before recently settling in Sydney to study English literature and Creative Writing. Traveling has opened my eyes to the sheer overwhelming variety that the world has to offer, and I am eager to meet you.

I love sitting in coffee shops to read when it is raining. I love dusk. I love lying in the sun. I love walking in the dark and talking into the night. I love beers in the park. I love dancing. I love visiting churches. I love being in the ocean. I love live music. I love that moment when a conversation previously lighthearted turns suddenly confessional. I love people

Music, Movies, and Books

Music-
Music has always played a huge part in my life. I grew up with artists like Tom Waits, Nick Cave, David Byrne, and Laurie Anderson, and I have expanded my preferences to include Anna Calvi, David Bowie, Amanda Palmer, The Preatures, St Vincent, Amy Winehouse, Lykke Li, Taraf de Haïdouks, PJ Harvey, The Cat Empire.... The list goes on and on!

I play the cello, the guitar, and I sing, and I love being introduced to people's favorite music.

Books-
I tend to be drawn to female writers or stories about women, and studying literature means that I am constantly finding new things to read.

Recently I have read and enjoyed The Lonely City by Olivia Laing, The Neapolitan Novels by Elena Ferrante, and Swimming Home by Deborah Levy.

Films -
