About Me

Hello ! I am a dancer, artist, traveler, experimental filmmaker, and people-lover. I grew up on a small island in the Pacific Northwest nestled between mountains, and the bustling city of Seattle. Finding honest human connections and sharing interesting dialogues is my goal and my passion. I am self-sufficient, open, good at establishing boundaries, understanding, and flexible. Please don't host me unless you are respectful, and inclusive to all people (especially LGBTQ)! I resist homophobia, islamophobia, racism, and ableism. I love to dance!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I am at a point in my life where I feel open to ambiguity, uncertainty, and adventure! I am on a 3 month trip through France (and possibly other countries). I plan on going to University in France for Gender Studies eventually, so I am trying to practice French as much as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a wide range of music. I love discovering underground music scenes wherever I go, and I love old nostalgic music. Some artists I like at the moment are:

Angel Olsen, Arthur Russell, Blood Orange, Broadcast, Devendra Banhart, Devo, Deux, DoNormaal, Easter, Etta James, Françoise Hardy, Frankie Cosmos, Guru, Kendrick Lamar, Nico, Porches, Princess Nokia, Sade, Soko, and The Velvet Underground

What I Can Share with Hosts

My mother is a professional chef who shared with me her love and (some of) her talent for cooking, so I'd love to cook some meals. I can also share and have conversations around my growing knowledge of dance, queer theory, cinéma and art.

I love children! I can speak English to them if they want to learn, but with adults I would rather try to speak French if that is a common language.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland
