Meeting local people on my travels helps me find hidden gems in the city, places that you don't find in tourist guides. Locals are normally full of useful tips on how to get around, what to see and what to avoid. Likewise, I've lived in many places so I am able to share a lot of useful information with anyone interested in traveling to those places in the future.
