About Me
Hi everyone !
It's always really hard to describe yourself! I am an inoffensive veggie traveler who already looks forward to meet you, mostly. I am currently achieving my master's degree in Gender Studies, in Lyon, France. I want to work in the field of sexual health, and especially fight against any types of violences committed against LGBTQI+ people, women... I am always trying to put into question my own priviledges in life, an my position into this world.
I consider myself as a sensitive person, who is truly interested in what everyone has to tell. My parents always say that I am a utopist and an eternal optimistic person, which is mostly true. I attach strong value to respect (towards others and yourself), non-judgment, listening, kindness, open-minding.
In a few words, that's it !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Mostly meeting new people, and discovering places I've never been to from the point of view of locals. I don't really enjoy "colonizing tourism", if it makes sense?
I see Couchsurfing as a new way of creating links between people, juste like car sharing or other initiatives which tend to reinforce solidarity. Amazing!

Music, Movies, and Books
You can't ask me to choose my favourite book, song or movie...because I've got too many of them in mind!
I basically enjoy any kind of music. I have so many Spotify playlists I can't even count... to give you a glimpse of it, I called them respectively "There will be blood" (metal, punk, hardrock), "Sweet animal" (chillin', soft music), "Rub a dub reggae" (type of music in the name!), "Rap Game", etc... Yes, I can switch from Britney Spears to Johnny Cash in a minute...
It goes the same for movies and books: drama, comedy, thriller, science fiction, fantasy... My only no-go zone is horror movies, oh man, you should see me screaming in front of them. I'd alsorather avoid "chick flick movies" full of stereotypes! I also watch a lot of tv shows (Praise Netflix): Peaky Blinders, The Crown, Stranger Things, How I met your mother, Chewing-gum, GOT, Utopia, Dark...
I can also show you some French movies, and make you listen to some French songs if you'd like to!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think the best adventure so far was my 6 months experience in Finland... experiencing - 30 degrees and Lapland, seeing Northern lights, travelling around, crossing a frozen lake, hiking in Iceland...
Teach, Learn, Share
I am ALWAYS curious about learning anything which is new. So don't be afraid to suggest doing something I don't know, I'll follow you (almost) anywhere!
I can teach you a few words in French, as well as cooking some French dishes, even if I'm not that much of a great cook. (I know how to make a good mojito though)
We can talk sociology if you'd like to, and I am always very happy to talk about feminism as well... If you play some instrusments, I'd be happy to sing with you as well.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Everything we wanna share together. It goes from staying cosy to partying all night long, from talking about our lives to walking in silence, from eating out and discovering the city to watching a good movie with a hot chocolate... Depends on the mood we're in I guess! As long as we share our different experiences, in serenity and respect, I am in.
