About Me
I'm an open and outgoing person who loves travelling! I've finished my studies last year and now I work as a teacher in secondary education (ESL and chemistry).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet people from all over the world! I want to get to know other cultures, I'm into languages (as a language teacher - no surprise) and couchsurfing is a great way to connect people
Hosting experience:
My sister has been on couchsurfing for, I think, five years now and I've only just created my own account because we used to host via her profile. Once, we were a "last-minute-emergency-host" and hosted a Canadian who was travelling Europe but his actual host declined only hours before he arrived. We ended up having a great time together!
Socializing experience:
When I was in Brussels with my sister, we went on a tour through the royal greenhouses at night with a bunch of local couchsurfers. We then went out to have drinks and they introduced me to Belgian beer :)
Interests
I enjoy music and literature, hiking, sailing and simply spending time outside. I'm always happy to go out for a beer, too :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was sailing in Italy in summer 2015 and we sailed a night trip to the island of Elba - we watched the sun rise over the sea - it was just beautiful!

What I Can Share with Hosts
I can show you the city (during my time at university I was asked to show new professors from abroad around, so I know all the touristy stuff, too!), nice places for food, drinks and partying and I'd like to show you the Styrian way of life :)
