Hi there!
I'm Eva, 23 years old and from Switzerland. I have just finished my undergraduate's in Linguistics at the University of Manchester and I have now moved to the beautiful town Tübingen to do my Master´s in Computational Linguistics.

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

For the obvious reasons I guess. I also fancy meeting new people. Although I can be quite reserved at first, I'm deeply interested in people. And I love travelling, of course.
I have not been on an extremely big travel (yet), and I don´t really know whether it´s for me. However, I hope to get to know more countries after my masters by staying and working there for a longer, but temporary period. Somewhere where I can practice my French or Spanish or learn a new langauge,...maybe?...

Zainteresowania

I love the outdoors. Living in a concrete city like Manchester showed me how much I missed being close to nature (although the peaks and the lakes are gorgeous, I must admit). So I go out to get fresh air as much as possible. I also enjoy climbing and bouldering and I do a lot of Yoga.

At the same time I love being inside and read and watch films. I also do quite a lot of knitting and crocheting. I need some creative outlet although I wouldn't consider myself a very creative person. I also play the piano and I hope to take up the violin again (I used to play it when I was younger). And I´m always up to play boardgames.

I'm currently teaching myself to code as I'd like to get more into Computational Linguistics. And I have a great interest in Digital Humanities.

At the moment, I'm really enjoying speculative fiction, especially Sci-Fi.
But I go through phases... so I end up reading everything a bit.

I'm up to teach and learn anything language related, history related. Basically, I can get fascinated by pretty much everything (don't tell me about cars though...apart from electric cars...and AI devices used in cars... also don't tell me about weapons, drugs and excessive alcohol consumption. topics I hate).

I am a really curious person so I can show you everything I know and cool places.

I also cook quite well in my opinion.... and bake amazing bread.
and I appreciate cleanliness, so my place is usually clean and I don´t leave a mess at other people´s homes.
