About Me

/!\ First let's share the rules of our home. If you request to stay with us, please know we are 3 in our flat, my husband, our dog and me. Our diet is mostly vegetarian (clearly the only one eating meat daily is our baby girl). Guests have a bedroom, wifi access, laundry can be done and we can cook for everyone. During the weekend we can show you around. Still, it isn't a hostel, we have jobs in the week and in the daytime we expect the guests to be independent and OUTSIDE of the flat. A couchsurfer is an extra member of the family but not a child, we expect an adult behaviour, it's about sharing, not taking ;) /!\

INTRODUCTION :
I grew up in a sunny place and I have enjoyed its nice weather for 16 years, then I've reached France with my retired parents before starting travelling by myself, mostly in Europe. I have a traveller spirit with a huge interest in languages, mythologies, healthy lifestyle and human psychology. Or to say short, I want to keep improving myself and wish us all to succeed our personal goals. I believe human meetings make us better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in Couchsurfing because I want to connect with the present of the country I visit more than seeing the "The Top 10 Things to Do in Croatia". Nothing against old rocks, I love them but focusing on the actual events and life rhythm inspire me more. It goes from seeing what kind of food you find in a basic store to meeting people currently living there. Because who can talk better about a place if it isn't the local people?
I'm from an island, and was used to see tourists spending hours near their hotel and then say how much they know MY country. And it makes me a bit sad...People that have spent months/years in a place are able to tell others what they think deserve attention or not :). So when it comes to my travels I want to "borrow" local eyes and share.
Right now I'm living in Avilés (Asturias) with my husband and our lovely young dog called Jazz It isn't my country but we could definitely show you around if available.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Enjoying simple moments, be conscious of life beauty and not stopping admiring it ?

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help you learn french language as I'm a teacher, can teach you some healthy dishes, introduce you to jazz and funky spirit of Nantes or Rennes (French cities).
I'm always happy to learn about dance, languages, cook and useful activities for mind and body (yoga, meditate, martial arts) as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My place has always been an open space, a lot of friends used to crash there even before they became my friends actually so you can find a bed here.
I love to cook so receiving a guest is an excuse I love. Especially on weekends when I have time obviously.
