I'm a second Ed teacher for English, PE, politics and Arts, which basically tells you a lot about what I do when I have some time off. I adore enduro/downhill mountainbiking and racing, (backcountry) skiing, loads of yoga, but anything outdoorsy really, swimming, grocery shopping + cooking, TRAVELING, hiking, and meeting new people and my amazing friends.

I went to university in Illinois for 2 semesters. While traveling North America for 13.5 months, I was volunteering (thanks to workaway.info) in different places like Utah, California, British Columbia, and the Yukon. They all differed so much from one another that I cannot even name one favorite as I loved working and living in all places for suuuure! Lastly I spent 1 year in India to work for the German Goethe Institute, teaching German at a local school and also did my yoga teacher training in the Himalayas for 6 months.

To host and to couchsurf, to get to know people, to enrich my life, to gain experiences, to learn new things, to experience new cultures first-hand, to break out of my comfort zone, to make new friends all over the world, to try things I never thought I would, to get to know different couchsurfing communities, to introduce my own culture to others, and of course to have fun !!
