I'm a History student with minors in English and TESOL, with the goal of doing a post-grad in primary school teaching. I grew up in Ireland but have spent the last 16 years in beautiful New Zealand, it's hard to decide which country feels more like home! I'm travelling the world for two years- one year as an exchange student and one year backpacking. My favourite destinations are those a little off the beaten track. I'm studying in the Czech Republic until May then off to start the next adventure!

The most unforgettable memory of the journey is always the people, and Couchsurfing is a lovely way to facilitate that.

Interests

City exploration and anything to do with history gets me going, I also love cooking with others and sharing a meal! I’m interested in education, and I find it fascinating to learn about different education systems in schools and countries around the world.

I'm a bit basic so my favourite movies/shows are Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings, and my favourite books are the Harry Potter series. I also love The Kite Runner, It's Not Always Black and White, Birdsong, Moone Boy, and Hacksaw Ridge.
