Hi, I am Eva (19) from Germany. I graduated last summer and since then I’ve been wasting some time at university in a study course I didn’t like and then decided to spend a few months with helpX in Spain (from February till May).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve been thinking about joining couchsurfing.com since I first heard of it around last year. I hope to use it not only to save money but to meet new interesting people all around the world – who can show me around cities they call home. Besides I’ll be moving to my own apartment when university starts so I might start hosting people myself then :)

Interests

I’m very interested in languages, getting to know foreign cultures and experiencing different life styles. Besides I enjoy reading, cooking, singing, watching movies and series and I guess I’ll never stop trying to learn an instrument :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, that’s a tough one, same goes for movies – there are just too many, also too many I like! (I can be hypercritical sometimes, though :P) But my favorite TV series so far are Veronica Mars, Death Note, Breaking Bad and Attack on Titan, plus you know sitcoms like scrubs, How i met your mother & Modern family…
I must admit, I am a Harry-Potter FREAK. In general I like fantasy but also thriller, dystopia or anything fascinating which is a good read; at the moment I really enjoy reading „Shantaram“ - though it is quite a job to finish that one! :D
