Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.
- Henry David Thoreau
I know this quote from "Into the Wild". And I just love it, cause it describes the feelings you discover, if you spend some time in the wild. Since when I was 11 years old I went to many different european countries for hiking in the mountains with my scout group. For two weeks there's only you, the nature, your backpack and your friends. And you realize: thats all you need.
This experience embossed me to travel the world. I hope I will be blessed to do so.
Also I enjoy visiting cities and meeting people. It's so wonderful to exchange ways of life and get to know different cultures, opinions and views of people.
Couchsurfing may be a brilliant possibility to find what I'm looking for, and also give it back to like-minded travellers, when they come to my country.
