I am a girl from the Netherlands, currently doing a masters in Nordic Urban planning in Denmark and Sweden. People usually say I'm positive, open-minded, easy going and easy to get along with.
I am on Couchsurfing because I love to meet people from other cultures and gain more insight into their perspectives. I also think it's much more fun to explore new places with locals instead of going for the touristic hotspots.

Interests

I love being outside and being in nature such as camping or hikes. I like riding my longboard, snowboarding, picnicks, painting, dancing and reading, I also like creative and artsy stuff. At the moment I am also spending my free time learning Swedish since my goal is to become fluent and perhaps find a job in Sweden.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a wide range of music taste. I like folk music, metal, jazz, pop, rap etc. Right now my favorite artist are Bring me the horizon, Ashnikko and Lana del Rey.
I like to read books which teach me more about myself or the world around me or fantasy books.
I really enjoy movies and have also partly studied them in uni. I enjoy art house movies and Asian horror movies in particular.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing a 3 day hike to the top of the second highest mountain in Taiwan.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really love to cook and Im quite good at it. So I will be able to share a lovely cooked meal :)
I am super interested in bike infrastructure and have some knowledge about that as well which I can share.
