About Me

ABOUT ME

my name is Eva and im 25 years old. I'd like to discover the world, live life to the fullest and try to make my world shine in all colors of the rainbow :) the small and ordinary seeming stories attract me, and I often find myself impressed by the huge number of different ways of life and million inspiring characters outside my little world. I love to play Ukulele and sing along (although I'm really not a good singer but still I have a lot of fun doing it :) ). I'm normally too impatient to spend a lot of time cooking when I'm all by myself (I know this is bad!), but I enjoy cooking with people while we talk about all different kinds of experiences, philosophy, adventures and dreams.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I always hope to find new, interesting and captivating people all over the world. I think Couchsurfing is a very nice way to get in touch with a city in a different way than the normal tourists do and this is what fascinates me, cause you can discover the places through the eyes of a local :)

Interests

my favorite hobby is daydreaming.. :)

play the guitar (not really well) and Ukulele

I love discussions about the meaning of life / philosophy while enjoying one (or more) glass of (red) wine :)

Discover a new city by visiting different kinds of cafés

Music, Movies, and Books

Jonathan Livingston Seagull - Richard Bach is a very nice book I recently read

Siddhartha - Hermann Hesse

Most of the time I listen to acoustic, indie music. I really like Bob Dylan (kind of inherited the passion for this musician from my dad..), but some electronic music (e.g. Peer Kursiv, Nicola Kruz) is part of my weekly playlist as well

My favourite movie of all times is Forrest Gump. But I also appreciate "Weekend" (2011, by Andrew Haigh)

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, France, Germany, Switzerland
