ABOUT ME

Me (Eva, 24) and my boyfriend (Basti, 30) will be travelling the US for 4 weeks in August/September this year, starting in Florida visiting friends and ending up at a wedding in Wisconsin. We are hoping to meet some great people and to get to know some beautiful places along the way!

PHILOSOPHY

One of my favourite quotes says: "But is it not true that you destroy your enemy by becoming their friend?"
I guess, that could be my personal philosphy somehow...I like to think of everyone as to have a good heart deep inside somewhere and like to give people the chance to show that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started to participate in Couch Surfing when I went to Auckland, NZ for a research project. I didn't know anyone there, but already had a place to stay. So I just enjoyed the company of the Couch Surfing Community once in a while and took it as a chance to meet new people.
Would love to surf at someone's couch sometime or host someone at my place. Unfortunately I never had the space for it, but I just moved to a new place...we'll see, maybe I'll set up a couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As you've already read, I'm quite new to Couchsurfing. I always wanted to do it, but somehow never really did. Well, I'm excited to start something new!

I practically like any good movies, music or books that cross my paths. I don't prefer any genres, authors or whatever category there is. As long as it's good and moves me or captures my heart or mind... :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow, sooo many. Starts with waking up every morning, looking out the window and seeing blue sky, green trees to meeting friends, amazing and interesting people to jumping out of a plane.
