Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find beauty in every moment and to learn from every challenge
ABOUT ME
It seems that my life has been a sequence of lives. I've traveled a fair amount - in "geographical space" as well as in the realms of spirit, and returned to my roots after living abroad for 25 years. I now offer seminars, teach at a regional college and tutor kids & adults in German and English. I meditate, sing in a small choir and love to be out in nature. Hiking in the mountains is a exhilarating experience for me. I'm also growing in my ability to connect with others and communicate with authenticity.
PHILOSOPHY
Not easy to put words to it. I seek to live a life of integrity and service, exploring ways to become ever more whole.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Occasionally hosting couch surfers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Very little formal Couchsurfing experience yet, but have traveled lots and stayed with friends and strangers alike. I'm happy sleeping on a mattress on the floor or in a real bed. I like to think of myself as easy to be around, considerate and trustworthy. I don't smoke or do drugs.

Integrating Western psychology with Eastern Spirituality, music (folk, world fusion, Baroque, Renaissance), reading & contemplating, hiking up valleys and mountains, hanging out with kindred spirits

Music, Movies, and Books
I like "European" movies - portraits of human nature in its myriad forms. I love to read, but end up reading mostly non-fiction, i.e. books on psychological, psychospiritual, alternative health and personal growth topics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling by car through, and hiking in, the Canadian Rockies and up the Alaska Highway through Yukon to Alaska.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to meet people from cultures unlike my own, to learn from those who have traveled much (literally and figuratively), and to share my love of the outdoors.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Philippines, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
