About Me
CURRENT MISSION
No matter where you are, there will be a friend around you. Keep your eyes open!
ABOUT ME
I'm a 31yo teacher and share my appartment with my old, blind, and deaf dog. I love to cook, but eating all by myself is not that much fun. From time to time I tend to host some animals in need until they find a new home.
I would like to get to know people from all over the world. I don't have enough time to do much travelling, so why don't you just come to me ;-)
Early birds are welcome!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted someone from Brazil and it was a blast! I know that I definitely found a new friend.
In New York I experienced the true quality of CS! I got to know hundreds of people (at least it felt like that) although I did not surf. At a party I met really cool people from all over the world and my horizon widened. A lot!
I also enjoy receiving messages from people all over the world. It is great that Couchsurfing is thus connecting.
I don't mind whether you have been into couchsurfing for years or just signed up recently. What is most important to me is that you are polite and give me some information about yourself in advance so that I can have the feeling to be able to trust you, if you want to be hosted by me. A filled profile is a good starting point, and a photo is the best presupposition.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Stayed for some weeks with a host family in Ghana in 2010 and got to know a lot of amazing people. I would love to go to Cape Coast again and I am saving some money to make it possible some time in the next few years again.
Teach, Learn, Share
I guess I'm quite a good cook and might teach anyone who's interested some regional or German specialties.
Since I live where I was born, I know quite a few things about my city. I work as a teacher for foreign students at my university and my task is to show them how living works in Germany (among other things). They come from all over the world and I really love getting in touch with their cultures, ideas, and identities. I found some friends at work.
