Work and travel in Canada in 2011

ABOUT ME

I like travelling around Germany and abroad. This year I did an internship in Wales and was in London and Dublin.
At the moment, my boyfriend and I do work and travel in Canada. We started in New York ( that was amazing), and then we stayed in Toronto for four weeks.Now we stay at a yoga retreat center in Gerorgian Bay and we really enjoy our time here. We plan to go to Montreal at July 18th and would like to find a place to stay via couchsurfing. Our plan is to cross Canada till Vancouver and to fly to Mexico in the winter.
We are interested in getting in contact with a lot of people and we are looking forward getting a lot of information about the country and the "must do`s" there. We would like to work there in the tourism sector or other funny small companies, bur we are really open-minded and in Toronto we did cleaning jobs for example in the Roger Center. Now we really enjoy working outside and doing gardening work.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This year I don`t have a own couch. I will travel around Canada and would like to meet for a coffee with canadians and use couches in Montreal or other places. Next year I will have my own flat in Germany, maybe in Frankfurt, Munich or Berlin. I think it is a great opportunity to get in contact with interesting people and to learn more about Canada or other countries.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no experiences with couch surfing. I only know stories from friends who have a lot of good contacts in Germany and abroad. I hope that I can use a lot of couches this year ;)

兴趣

At home I do yoga and pilates regularly and go to the gym. I am interested in foods of the world. I like being outdoors and long walks. Also I like long chats with friends.
I like organizing journeys and of course travelling around. I love going out with friends and chatting the whole night with them. I also like watching films in a multiplex cinema or as well in small independant cinemas. I prefer small parties or bars than going in a club. In the summer I love swimming in lakes and being outside with friends.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Last week I have been more or less in the Niagara Falls ;) that was amazing.
Andres and my first job in Toronto was cleaning a messy house. That was really dirty, dusty and I have never seen such a mess.
Now we are at a yoga retreat centre in Georgian Bay and we are starting to relax and enjoy the nature.

I can tell you a lot about different countries for example in Asia. I would like to get in contact with the Canadian culture at the moment. I am looking forward to staying at several organic farms here and to learn about the farmers life.
