Getting to know Bodø and the north of Norway

ABOUT ME

I am interested in getting new experiences, meeting new people, and travel. I also love to listen to music music and going to concerts. In the weekends I like to go out for a drink or to dance. I enjoy discussions about anything from natural sciences to politics.

I just moved to Bodø to do my medical internship. So far, I don't really know that much about the place, but I hope to discover more of it while I'm here :) Maybe you want to join me in discovering?

I enjoy the company of all kinds of people, and I'd like to think that I'm very open and not judgemental.

PHILOSOPHY

I both like to live in the present, and plan the future, because some things just don't happend if you don't plan them, and some things just don't happend if you plan too much.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to travel, and my best experiences have been when I meet someone who knows the place. In Norway I'm used to opening my home to friends and friends of friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only had positive experiences so far :). I really enjoyed hosting people. It's amazing how fast you feel like you know the other person, and I had a lot of interesting discussions.

Interests

Music, theatre, dance.
I prefer natural wonders and pretty buildings over museums, although both are interesting.
I like meeting new people, and do new things.
I love to discuss politics, religion and culture, hopefully to broaden my horizon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Montpellier in France for a year. It was great to be a student there, and during that year I realized how fun it is to experience different cultures and people. Ever since, I've been longing to travel.

Teach, Learn, Share

Language - I always try to learn some of the language when I travel somewhere or meat someone. If you would like to learn some basic Norwegian phrases, I'll be happy to help :)
