About Me

Dear community out there :).

It's always hard to describe yourself, but let's go for a try. I'm definitely an Aries sign: idealistic, active and extrovertive. Besides being on the move, I am also a dreamy and creative person. I love to philosophize and spin my head around great ideas, but as well i like to do stuff, to create with my own hands and to connect in different ways.

If an idea popped up in my mind, it's hard for me to get away from it and I want to put it into action. This was also what made me travel Southamerica on my own when I was 19.. And then it all started ;). I've become more and more political in the past years - also through travels - and feel an urge to build up a project or sth. I think this will be the next chapter as I am about to finish University now.

Aaand: I love to get inspired! Arts, psychedelics, good talks, cities, music, festivals, workshops are the treasure of this world for me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For the last 7 years I've spent as much of my free time as I could to explore different countries and cultures. Couchsurfing proved to be one of the best ways to get in touch with locals and what could be named "local life" in this. I prefer way more to work in projects and stay with people than hopping from one hostel to another. I've had personal experiences I wouldn't have had like staying with a shaman in Mexico, with a retired art teacher in New Zealand and a community in the mountains of argentinia. A lot of friendships emerged and subjects got sorted out. Moreover, nowadays media plants so much fear in people's heads and a lot of them wouldn't believe you would completely trust in a stranger. But couchsurfing proves, yes you can. So far again : thank you community.

Interests

I have a little "soul book" which always accompanies me on my travels. I feed it with ideas, good talks, random knowledge, pictures, and quotes.
Besides, I paint. Mostly collage style with acrylic colours. I did a mural which is to be found in Valparaíso, Chile.

Music, Movies, and Books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Magical places I've seen

Visiting Machu Picchu felt like not being on this earth. Was the most mystic place I've ever been to.

There is a place in Israel next to the Death Sea that is a "Kibbutz", a community living in an oasis. In this area there is a Memorial place for two people that died because of the war and because of an accident. To remember somebody installated windchimes on a ledge over a huge magnificent valley. I really got goose-pimples because of the beauty.

Things I've Done
Too personal to publish :) better in talks

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a Hatha Yoga teacher and I do a lot of Akro Yoga as well. As well I do artesanía and macramé. One of my biggest interests is in urbanism, architecture, utopias and city planning. I gave to university seminars and would love to share thoughts on this.
