About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to be Batman

ABOUT ME

I'm just a 22 years old person who is trying to make things work out in her life, if that even means anything.
By now, I've just finished studying journalism, and about to start studies in international politics. And I still have no idea of what I want to do with my life.

At some point of the last few months, I realised that we use to have extremely comfortable (and boring) lives, so now I'm trying to run away from that by putting myself into different kind of situations. And I think it's kind of working.

PHILOSOPHY

"I want people who let me be"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I'm not able to host people, since is not allowed in the residence I live in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've travelled around Europe, from host to host. Amazing people.

Interests

I love the "audiovisual thing". I admire when people are able to express in such a beautiful way things that concern me so much. I used to be a "series addict", I spent almost all my free time by watching them -and I'm quite sure that it doesn't exist a better one that Six feet under, even if everyone keeps telling that it's boring-.
I don't have all that free time anymore, so I prefer watching movies now. I specially enjoy French cinema of the 50's and 60's, the famous 'Nouvelle vague': it's to feel, not to understand.
I feel an irrational love for Where the wild things are, both book and movie.
I also like this freaks cartoons with this particular sense of humor, like Futurama or Adventure Time, and of course The Simpsons.

Making photographies is one of my favourite things to do, but often I get angry because the world doesn't seem as good in my photos as I see it with my eyes. But actually that's just because I'm not that good.

Music is one of the things that inspires me the most, and I'd like to learn how to play an instrument properly. Years ago I tried with the guitar, but I have the smallest hands that you'll probably ever see, so it didn't happen. Now I'm trying with the ukelele.

I use to write about everything I see and feel -I prefer writing that talking- and I love reading. I like writers who are able to express complicated ideas by using simple words.

I'm really interested in politics and history: I want to know what's happening in the world I live in, and I want to know why did it happen. Sadly, the most common answer to that question is because humans are stupid.

Music, Movies, and Books

Breaking the waves
Dogville
Witness for the prosecution
À bout the soufflé
Pierrot le fou
Amour
Hiroshima mon amour
L'aneè dernière à Marienbad
Persona
Les quatre cents coups...
...and I could spend hours and hours talking about films I love.

Jazz music, indie music, folk music, rock music.

I don't have any kind of books that I enjoy the most. I just don't care that much about what they want to say, but the way they say it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I went to a foreign country and nobody asked me about the 'spanish siesta'. But it was just once.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden
