About Me
As much as I appreciate Canada I can't help but hunger for travel. Ever since my first big solo trip at age 19, my urge to explore has failed to subside. I love to meet locals and other travellers as I play it by ear traveling the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
People make places what they are. I love traveling for the nature, architecture, food, and humans I am blessed to meet along the way! I want to hear your stories, see through your eyes, and continue to build a wealth of international friendships.

Music, Movies, and Books
These change all the time, but some concerts I've seen lately, or am seeing soon, include Grizzly Bear, Shakey Graves, Patrick Watson and the National. I've been really enjoying Angel Olsen and Chad Vangalen a lot lately too.
Being in graduate schools unfortunately means not reading for fun too often. The most recent novels I've really enjoyed are The Thing Around Your Neck by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison. I generally find books by David Sederis and Miranda July pretty funny.
A movie I can re-watch tirelessly is What's Eating Gilbert Grape.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Paying off my student loans so I could travel debt-free!
