ABOUT ME

I live in Hoorn, which is a nice city about 35 kilometers from Amsterdam. I am teacher, but I like to learn more. About the world, about things, about you (if you like). I am very flexibel and easygoing. I know how to enjoy my life and the little things in it. I am very glad with my parents, my friends, my work, my house, my pets. I am a very positive person, and always see the other side of an opinion. I am an ex-atletic (5e of the Netherlands in judo). I like to sing and play at the piano. I love photography.

PHILOSOPHY

Respect everyone. Carpe diem. Expend experiences. Be nice to people, it's more easy then making up a lie. You need the rain and sun to see the colours of the rainbow.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I contribute moneywise, and give a place to stay for those who want and need it. TIPS: Places around Hoorn that are nice to visit are for example Volendam (fishersplace and a lot of famous Dutch musicians come from here), Edam, Zaanstreek (a lot of windmills, cheese and woodenshoesfactory), Haarlem (old but expensive town), Alkmaar (cheesecity and also old), Enkhuizen (fisherplace with lots of nice little pubs and restaurants.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I travelled to many places in the world, slept mostly in beds, but sleeping wasn't the main thing. Experience was the big word.
