I am a twenty-two-year old girl from the Netherlands. I am currently studying at UCC (Cork, Ireland). I am in my 4th year of Child Developmental Studies and 3rd year of Law, but here in Cork I'm doing a bunch of different classes (criminology, social policy, law, history).
This is my first time being in Ireland and I absolutely love it! I came together with my mum and we did a bit of West Cork, but there are so many other places I'd love to see and visit. I'm only here for about for months, so I want to make the most of it and try and travel every weekend.
My hobbies are mostly dancing and theatre. Back home I was involved in a student theatre association last year and it was the best time. Furthermore I love having great conversations with people from all over the world, sharing our views about different stuff.
I'm always up for having a nice dinner and a glass of wine!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been in contact with couchsurfing for a long time. My mother hosted when I was younger. I always liked meeting hanging out with the people that stayed with us. We also surfed ourself in US and Norway and that was really cool. I like Couchsurfing because it's the best way to meet local people and really get a feeling of the country instead of just doing the touristy things.
