Overview
About Me
I am a triathlete who loves to travel and explore new places.
I am traveling to the Netherlands in September to race at the ITU World Triathlon Grand Final to end the season, then spending a few weeks traveling around Europe. I am couchsurfing whenever possible to make new friends and learn from the locals!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Growing up my family has always opened our home to friends of friends of friends or whoever might need a place to stay, and I've made a lot of friends from it. I have also had great experiencing staying at "homestays" when traveling to triathlon races when other athletes have welcomed me into their home, and I've made some great friends letting other athletes stay with me. Now I'm official and have a "couchsurfing" account!

Music, Movies, and Books
Dharma Bums, The Office, I Love You Man, Grouplove.... I like a lot of music
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On a road trip this spring, decided to run the "rim to rim to rim" of the Grand Canyon on a whim... 46 miles (74 km) and over 11,000 feet (3350 meters) of climb in one day. It was absolutely beautiful, but the last climb out was brutal... some serious highs and lows that day (literally and figuratively).
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to meet people from other places. It's great to share perspectives from different parts of the world, and I have learned and shared a lot whenever I've met people traveling, whether within the US or another country. I'm also in the last year of graduate school for physical therapy so I can probably offer some general advice for your mom's bum knee haha.
